ABOUT BENDING THE BOW INTERNATIONAL

  • Seth and Mary Beth live in Northern California. We have been married since 1995, have 5 children, 3 daughters-in-love, 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters.

  • We are in love with Jesus and have consecrated our lives and ministry to His leadership.

  • We are ordained ministers through Dick Mills Ministries. We had the privilege of having Reverend Dick Mills lay hands on us and ordain us as pastors before he passed away.

  • Seth is a Certified Life Coach through John Maxwell. Seth attended Bethany University where he studied Education.

  • Mary Beth is a Registered Nurse and holds a Bachelors's degree in Nursing, and a minor in Bible and Intercultural Studies from Biola University.

  • We have been in full-time ministry since 1995.

  • BTBI is a support-based ministry. Monthly and one-time financial contributions enable us to serve other ministries, leaders, and their families.

  • We are equippers with a desire to help the Body of Christ grow in their intimacy and knowledge of Jesus.

  • We believe that each individual has been set apart by God to serve Him in a unique way. We love to come alongside people who are pursuing His principles, plans, and values for their lives and for their areas of influence.

  • We serve locally, in the U.S.A. and internationally.

  • Many of the leaders and ministries we serve are under-resourced. They have limited budgets, limited access to resources, and are usually overworked and understaffed.

  • We believe that effective ministry is the natural overflow of deep, unconditional love and intentional relationship. It is from this posture that we serve.

  • We create a personalized plan to meet the specific needs of the leaders and teams we are working with.

  • A lot of the work we do takes place behind closed doors, where a safe, confidential relationship is fostered between us and the leader we are working with. We have seen Jesus do deep heart works, healing, restoring, refreshing, and renewing men and women who love Him and who have given their lives for others. It is the highest of privileges. We do not get to share many of these testimonies, because of the sensitive nature of this part of our ministry.

  • Some of what we do: inner healing, counseling, re-entry coaching for short and long term ministry assignments, health coaching, spiritual coaching, equipping workshops, seminars, and retreats, children’s ministry, marriage workshops, preaching and teaching, leadership development, team development, respite care, as well as, practical projects like micro-banking and health and sanitation projects in developing nations.

  • Regardless of the tool belt we are wearing, our vision remains the same:

    • To Equip and Refresh the Body of Christ for the Purpose of Personal and Corporate Transformation;

    • To Equip the Body of Christ to Grow in their Personal Intimacy with Jesus;

    • To Equip and Encourage the Body of Christ to Mature in their God-Given Purpose and Transform their Area of Influence through the Establishment of His Kingdom on the Earth.
