OVER THE EDGE
Over the Edge (OTE) is a backpacking/discipleship program that we developed to equip junior high through college-age students. Our students are challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually as they embark on a guided journey into the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains with Seth and Mary Beth. OTE is intended to inspire students to experience the pleasure of accomplishment by giving them opportunities to do hard things. Students learn to work together with other individuals, as a team, and will have the opportunity to garner leadership skills. They will be challenged to grow in their character and integrity. Under our leadership, we will encourage them to dig into the Word of God to explore and discover who God created them to be. They will encounter Jesus on this trip and learn to hear His voice for themself. This trip is life-changing. Your student will come home with a new appreciation for creation, the value of hard work, community, and their relationship with Jesus, as they "unplug" and get away. This is our Entry Level Trip.
NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
We will delve into the topic of God's Purpose and Plan for our lives. Each student will return home with a personalized Vision and Mission Statement.
Prerequisite: OTE 1
Building on the foundation that was laid in
OTE 1, we use John and Staci Elridge's books "Wild At Heart" and "Captivating", we explore topics of identity, adventure, and hearing God's voice.
Prerequisite: OTE1 & OTE 2
OTE Extreme is a personalized backpacking experience, based on skills and abilities of the students who are registered.
OTE Extreme explores the topics of Developing Kingdom Belief Systems, Finding Freedom In Areas the Enemy Has Enslaved Us To, Maintaining Freedom, Soul Ties, Inner Healing, Staying Free & Growing Forward In Our Relationship with Jesus.
